Partner Products: Automated Learning
Superfactory has partnered with Automated Learning to provide a wide variety of online training programs.
LearnTech® training incorporates interactive learning checks throughout the instructional sequences. Certification tests are criterion-referenced and module-based with feedback on every response for enhanced learning. The tests also include a scorebar to provide the learner with continuous status information. Administrative access to dates and scores of tests, certifications, and re-certifications is compliant with ISO quality-standards requirements.
The objectives of this course are for the participant to:
- Understand the origin, structure, and benefits of 5S.
- Describe the sorting process.
- Understand the "red-tag" method used to identify and remove unnecessary material from the workplace.
- Explain the necessary processes to improve access to materials and equipment.
- Explain the role of cleaning in maintaining quality and throughput.
- Understand the creation and use of procedures, practices, policies, and job aids associated with the 5S activities.
- Describe the roles and functions of management and contributors to the ongoing monitoring of, and improvements to, the 5S process.
Going Lean: Visual Controls $99 ![]()

- Describe the use of visual methods for object and facility control, including safety controls.
- Explain the use of schedule boards, problem reporting, work load plans, and ahead and behind charts.
- Show the purpose and use of quality alert sheets, in-process inspection standards, inspection results, SPC charts, and the role of quality awards vs. quality control charts.
- Explain the use VC for maintenance, shadowboards and color coding, signals for equipment status, and equipment monitoring.
- Describe the role of the team in managing team production activities.
Going Lean: Introduction to Lean $99 ![]()
